Preliminary investigations revealed that they are members of a kidnapping syndicate operating within Kaduna and its environs, with strong links to criminal camps located in Rijana Forest.

- October 2025 Incident: The abduction of a senior police officer and his son.
Despite collecting a ransom of ₦24 million and other items, the victims were not released until police intervention secured the officer’s son unharmed.
Efforts are ongoing to rescue the officer.
- Family Abduction Case: The syndicate was also linked to the kidnapping of a young child and family members.
They collected ₦18 million for them before victims were eventually rescued through police operations.
