TD Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has paid a surprise congratulatory visit to Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, following the governor’s victory in the state’s governorship election.
Obasanjo visited Governor Adeleke to congratulate him on his electoral success and acknowledge the outcome of the keenly contested election.

The visit comes amid heightened political interest in Osun State following the governorship poll, which saw Adeleke secure another mandate from the electorate.
Adeleke received the former president during the visit, with the meeting providing an opportunity for both leaders to exchange views following the election.

Adeleke, who contested the election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), emerged victorious after defeating his major challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
