TDProphet Jonah in the Bible was a man of uncommon influence, so gifted in the mouth. But Jonah refused to go to the city of Nineveh to preach against wickedness, rather choosing to escape from God, who detailed him on the assignment. Dangle your head a bit, and a certain Jonah of Nigeria will occur to you, the man who wants to fix his country: No escape!

Have you ever seen a man trying to run away from his shadow? Come on, the freaking shadow will run after you in very dramatical gestures: step for step! Then came the torments, and the shipwreck was starring Jonah and other travellers in the eyes while drifting closer! Casting lots was next after having called their gods, each and hurling nearly all their baggage into the angry sea, yet the sea raged. Trembling had gripped their ice-cold bodies when Jonah spoke, “Cast me into the sea, and the tempest will cease.”

Mr Peter Obi has been tormented all along by people so habitually ingrained in tricks of all sorts. This same torment was why he left the Labour Party, LP, and then torment ceased. He landed in the African Democratic Congress,ADC, open heartedly ready to salvage a sinking country from total collapse, yet again, the tormentors raised their heads from under the torrents. Project? Interlock and undo him with numerous tricks and delay tactics, then take advantage of his millions of followers to win. Blindfolding and arm-twisting strategy, right?

This time, Jonah did not ask to be thrown into the sea. No, this Jonah was not even trying to escape from the assignment of saving a lacerated nation. He launched himself against the troubled sea and expertly swam off, leaving the ship of torment for a safer place. Then, cronies of the tormentors took to the microphones, saying that Peter Obi wanted to be handed the ticket without primaries. Why are you so pained that Jonah left the ship where you plotted to wreck him?

Sorry, God has provided a big fish that took Jonah to the land He intends to salvage. I am sure that the ship of the ADC will see no further torments, just like the LP where the voyage became calm after Peter Obi left there. The breeders of torment can go and brew another model within the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, but you know what? God will still tell our Jonah the next thing to do. Two Fingers Up! ✌️
