TDPolitical momentum is building in Nnewi North as aspirants of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) prepare to converge for a high-level strategic summit ahead of the 2027 general election.
The event, formally titled the Nnewi North State Constituency Aspirants Summit 2026, is being organized by Explore Nnewi Urban under the leadership of its Managing Director, Comrd. Caleb Okeke-Enyobi (Nkan’uzu Anaedo).
Speaking on the purpose of the gathering, Okeke-Enyobi emphasized that the summit would serve as “a critical platform to discuss the future of Nnewi North and the synergy required for a successful legislative tenure.”
He added that the meeting was designed to strengthen unity among aspirants and ensure that the constituency speaks with one voice in the run-up to the elections.

The summit is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Anaedo Social Club Restaurant.
Organizers have stressed punctuality, noting that the program will begin promptly without allowance for “African time.”
Eligibility and Expectations
Attendance is restricted to aspirants who are fully registered members of the NDC on or before May 10, 2026.
Invitations are personal and non-transferable.
In a firm statement, the organizers warned that aspirants who fail to attend will be “officially noted as non-committal to the collective vision for the constituency.”
