TD London, United Kingdom — The Village Boys Movement has appointed Issac Fayose as an Ambassador of the movement as political mobilisation and engagement among Nigerians in the diaspora intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The appointment was announced and formally conveyed by the Village Headmaster of the Village Boys Movement, Maazi Tochukwu Ezeoke, during the first edition of the Obidient Connect Meet and Greet, held in London, United Kingdom.
The event brought together members, supporters and sympathisers of the Obidient movement in the United Kingdom for networking, interaction and discussions around the movement’s continued political engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to the Village Boys Movement, the appointment of Fayose is part of its efforts to strengthen its mobilisation structure by bringing individuals with public visibility, organisational capacity and commitment to its political objectives into positions of responsibility.
Fayose Pledges Support for Peter Obi
Accepting the appointment, Issac Fayose expressed his appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work with other stakeholders within the movement towards the emergence of former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi as President of Nigeria in 2027.
Fayose said his engagement would focus on strengthening grassroots participation, mobilising Nigerians and encouraging greater involvement in the democratic process.
