TDThe Nigeria Police Force has announced a major breakthrough in the investigation into the murder of Bishop Chinedu Clarence James.
The breakthrough came with the recovery of his stolen Toyota Land Cruiser and the arrest of two suspects linked to the crime.
According to the Anambra State Police Command, the operation was based on credible intelligence that the vehicle was being moved to Onitsha for sale.
Acting on the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, operatives tracked and intercepted the suspects in a coordinated intelligence-led operation.
Preliminary findings revealed that one of the suspects allegedly contacted his cousin in Onitsha to help secure a buyer for the SUV.
The arrangement was initiated after the bishop was abducted and murdered in Delta State on May 12.

The suspects were arrested at the point of sale, while the Toyota Land Cruiser was recovered as vital evidence.
Police authorities confirmed that investigations have intensified to dismantle the entire syndicate behind the kidnapping, murder, and attempted sale of the stolen vehicle.
