An awkward situation developed in Türkiye on January 27, 2026, when Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu tripped and fell while walking with President Erdogan.
The ugly incident happened during a military reception parade in Ankara, Türkiye, on the first day of Tinubu’s state visit.

According to the video, President Tinubu was seen veering away from his Turkish counterpart when he suddenly collapsed.
Turkish security operatives rose to the occasion and helped him back on his feet.
