independent verification of the claim remains outstanding.

The Presidency has publicly dismissed the recording as fabricated and called for legal action against those involved in its creation and dissemination.
The presidential spokesman previously described the audio as fake and warned about the dangers posed by manipulated digital content, including its potential to mislead the public and undermine trust in public institutions.
Experts have increasingly raised concerns about the use of artificial intelligence and deepfake technology to create convincing but false audio and video materials, particularly in politically sensitive environments.
Authorities have continued to urge Nigerians to verify information from credible sources before sharing it online.
They emphasize responsible social media use and vigilance against misinformation.
Until an official police statement is issued, the reported arrest of Ifechukwu Dennis should be regarded as an unverified claim.
