TDA disturbing new video has emerged showing Mrs. Alamu, the principal of Community Grammar School, Esinele, Oyo State, pleading for urgent intervention as she and several abducted students and teachers remain in captivity.

The victims, kidnapped on May 15, 2026, have reportedly been held under harsh conditions for two weeks, exposed to both sun and rain without shelter.

Heartbreaking Plea from Captivity

In the video, Mrs. Alamu appeals directly to President Bola Tinubu, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

She urged them to act swiftly to secure their release.

“Both we the school teachers and children are under the sun and rain for the past few weeks,” she lamented.

She added that the kidnappers have grown increasingly impatient.

According to her, the terrorists have threatened to kill one of the captives after government forces attempted a rescue operation.

Worsening Security Situation

The abduction at Community Grammar School Esinele was not an isolated incident.

On the same day, the armed group also attacked The Baptist Nursery and Primary School in Yawota, abducting more teachers and students.

The coordinated assaults highlight the worsening insecurity in Oyo State and the broader southwest region.

Schools have become frequent targets of kidnappers in the region.

Public Outrage and Government Silence

The video has sparked outrage among Nigerians, many of whom are dismayed that citizens must beg for help while the government focuses on threats of arrest over cybercrime.

Critics argue that the administration’s priorities appear misplaced, as families and communities grapple with the trauma of mass abductions.

Human rights advocates warn that the prolonged captivity of children and educators under such dire conditions represents a grave violation of fundamental rights.

Civil society groups have called on both federal and state authorities to intensify rescue efforts and ensure the safety of schools across the country.

Call for Action

Mrs. Alamu’s emotional appeal underscores the urgency of Nigeria’s security crisis.

With the captives enduring harsh weather and facing threats of execution, pressure is mounting on the government to act decisively.

As the situation drags into its third week, Nigerians are demanding accountability and immediate intervention to prevent further tragedy.

Video Transcript

In a transcript of the video, she said:

“Good morning. Today is the 27th of May, 2026. About 13 days ago, we have been picked from war. And still now, we are still in the bush.

And we are begging you, President Sinubu, Governor Sheyi, and every other women in Nigeria to please help us.

“I’m calling on NUT and cops to help us to talk to them.

“We don’t need force. All they have to do is to negotiate with them and release us.

“We are in the cold. We are under the sun. We are under the rain. The children and the adults as well.

“Please, we are begging you. We are begging you. Don’t let them waste our lives. They are getting impatient and frustrated.

“Please help us. We are begging you in the name of God.

“Please help us. Please. Please help us. Please. Please help us. Don’t just leave us here.

“Don’t forget us in the bush. Please. Answer them on time. Please. This does not call for force at all. Please.

“Just negotiate with them and dialogue with them.”

Speaking again, she said:

“Please, I am here again to beg the government, President Tinubu, and the governor of Oyo State, to please help us and dialogue with these people.

“They should not use force. The force that they used yesterday has caused us so much.

“It has heightened our problems.

“In fact, one of us has been picked that they are going to kill him.

“Because government tried to help us by force, we want you to call them and dialogue with them so that our lives will be saved.”
