TDÂ The Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI has delivered another decisive blow against insurgents in the North-East, destroying a concealed terrorist stronghold in Borno State and neutralising several fighters in a precision airstrike.
According to security sources, the operation was conducted on August 4 following credible intelligence on renewed terrorist activity around Chiralia.
Chiralia is a densely wooded area long exploited by insurgents as a hideout due to its difficult terrain and natural camouflage.
The location has historically served as a staging ground for ambushes and supply routes, making its destruction a significant setback for the insurgents.
