TDDo We Have A President In Nigeria Where Terrorists Are Not Criminals But Brothers And Prodigal Sons?
We live in interesting times in Nigeria. Countries differ from countries.
Some are characterized by predictable march toward greater freedom and prosperity.
Some remain stubbornly stunted under a government that brazenly kill its own citizens. Nigeria is in the latter category.
In Nigeria, we are used to governance of corruption, poverty, terrorism, brutal leadership.
We are used to docile, dumb, and deaf citizens. We are used to a country constantly being terrorized by a ragtag minority cow herding Fulani terrorists.
We are used to a country with interpreters of maladies. We are used to a country of mumucrazy. We are used to a country of no hope.
Nigerians are plagued by known and unknown ancient evils.
We have been subjected and subjugated by a psychotic government that actively participates, supports, sponsors, and fully armed Fulani terrorists, bandits, and kidnappers.
The leaders feed fat on proceeds from terrorism.
Terrorists have sentenced our future generations to destruction.
The rampant killings and kidnappings have become a new normal in Nigeria.
Looking for hell on earth? You need not look far.
Nigeria is the Biblical depiction of Hell: A place of darkness, a lake of fire, a field of blood, a place of weeping, suffering, sorrow.
A prison of perpetual torment.
Everywhere you go in Nigeria, you can hear the tormented screams of kidnapped babies and teenage children.
You can hear the groan and moan of abducted victims being beheaded, decapitated, and brutally severed into meat ball sizes.
Cries of victims rent the air. So many echoes of death and disconsolation.
In Nigeria, it is an unexplainable irony that the government that’s supposed to protect lives and properties of citizens is responsible for shielding and defending terrorists.
Nigerians were told that terrorists are not criminals. They’re prodigal sons. They are our brothers.
General Olufemi Oluyede, Chief of Defense Staff, Nigerian Army, argued that “It is important to allow terrorists to repent on their own volition rather than killing them.
“But even in the Bible, we heard about the prodigal son.
“If there was not that window for the man to come back, would they have come back?” Nigeria’s security chief, Nuhu Ribadu calls terrorists “our brothers.”
Once upon a time, President Bola Tinubu during a condolence visit to Pa Fashoranti, the Afenifere leader, whose daughter was butchered by Fulani terrorists, asked “Where are
the cows?”
Meaning leave the Fulani alone. Don’t blame them for the murder. They are not responsible.
Is this how we will continue to live in this country? Who will stop the killings/kidnappings? When will it stop?
Do we have a president? Is anyone by the title Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces?
Do we have state governors? Do we have any institution called National Assembly?
What do these good for nothing lawmakers do? What’s their job description? Who is in charge of Nigeria?
Do we have a president?
Who is really in charge? Seriously, who is in control?
People can endure the greatest agony if they know it will ultimately stop.
In Hell, there’s no such hope. And Nigeria is Hell. There’s no hope to be renewed!
