TD Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced restrictions on transactions involving a number of crypto-asset service providers, including Nigeria-based platforms A7 Nigeria and A7 Africa.

The restrictions was announced in a Binance press release dated September 12, 2026.

The restrictions are linked to what the cryptocurrency exchange described as recent regulatory developments and its obligation to comply with regulatory requirements in jurisdictions where it operates.

Binance said users should not directly or indirectly send to, receive from, or otherwise engage in transactions through Binance involving the affected entities after their respective restriction dates.

A7 Nigeria, A7 Africa Added to Restricted List

According to Binance, transactions involving A7 Nigeria, A7 Africa and PilotFinance Ltd became subject to the restrictions effective August 13, 2026.

The platforms were listed alongside other crypto-asset service providers that Binance said it would no longer process transactions involving.

The exchange had earlier imposed similar restrictions on Shelbit General Trading LLC and Aban Tether Exchange, effective August 7, 2026.

More Crypto Platforms Affected

A larger group of platforms was added to the list with restrictions taking effect from August 23, 2026.

They include:

  1. Rapira
  2. Aifory Pro (Sooty Ltd.)
  3. ABCeX (Nueva Cryptologia S.A.S DE C.V.)
  4. WhiteBird
  5. NoOnecrypto INC.
  6. Tradex (Brightum LLC)
  7. Monease Ltd
  8. BitPapa
  9. Exnode
  10. Exnode Pay (Arvix)
  11. HTX (Huobi Global SA)
  12. EXMO Ltd

Binance did not provide detailed explanations for the individual platforms in the announcement, but said the measures were necessary to meet regulatory requirements.

Transactions May Be Held for Compliance Review

Binance warned that transactions involving the affected platforms attempted on or after the applicable restriction dates may be held and subjected to a compliance review.

The exchange also said restrictions could be placed on impacted wallets while a review is ongoing.

According to Binance, such activity may constitute a breach of its Terms of Use.

The warning means Binance users could face delays or restrictions if their transactions are connected directly or indirectly to any of the listed crypto-asset service providers.

Binance Warns Users About Wallet Addresses

The cryptocurrency exchange also issued a security warning to users, urging them not to disclose, publish or otherwise share their Binance wallet addresses with third parties or platforms in a way that could associate the wallet with prohibited crypto-asset service providers.

Binance said failure to keep wallet addresses confidential could expose users to risks including dusting attacks or unauthorized account activity.

Binance Cites Regulatory Compliance

Binance said it is required to comply with regulatory requirements in the jurisdictions where it operates.

The company described the restrictions as measures designed to meet those obligations and help maintain what it called a safe and secure environment for users and their assets.

The announcement comes amid increasing regulatory scrutiny of cryptocurrency exchanges and crypto-asset service providers globally, with platforms increasingly implementing transaction monitoring and restrictions to comply with local and international regulatory requirements.
