TDPresident Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement, and Mobilisation.

Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, disclosed this in a statement.

The appointment takes immediate effect.

Onanuga observed that it underscores the President’s confidence in Governor Sani’s leadership qualities, organisational acumen, and ability to foster unity across diverse political and social constituencies.

Governor Sani, he said, will work closely with the Director-General of Renewed Hope Ambassador and the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly the party’s national chairman.

His mandate is to ensure harmony, inclusiveness, and strategic coordination across the APC’s mobilisation and engagement architecture.

Why the Appointment?

President Tinubu emphasised that the appointment is part of a broader strategy to consolidate the achievements of his administration and strengthen public confidence in the APC’s governance agenda.

The Renewed Hope initiative, which serves as the administration’s guiding philosophy, is expected to be amplified nationwide through Governor Sani’s outreach efforts.

In his letter conveying the appointment, President Tinubu wrote:

“The overall objective of your appointment is to ensure that the entire citizenry is aware of, understands, and ultimately supports our party and its candidates at all levels for broad national acceptance in the 2027 election.

“Preparation is critical and essential to achieving this outcome, and your leadership will be central to guiding this process effectively and strategically.”

Why the Choice of Governor Sani?

Governor Sani, who has earned commendations for his pragmatic governance style in Kaduna State, is expected to leverage his grassroots appeal, political experience, and organisational skills to galvanise support for the APC.

His role will be pivotal in reinforcing the message of Renewed Hope and ensuring that the party’s programmes and policies resonate with citizens across Nigeria.

This appointment signals President Tinubu’s determination to build a strong mobilisation framework ahead of the 2027 general elections.

It will also position the APC to deepen its outreach, strengthen its national presence, and secure broad acceptance across the federation.
