TDThere was a heavy commotion on Monday, March 30, as former presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, landed in Kano for the defection event of former Kano State Governor and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP)’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
A frenzy erupted among the crowd who were shouting between Peter Obi and Kwankwaso.

Kano on Fire as Kwankwaso joins ADC
Kano was buzzing with excitement as Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso made a major political move, joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Smiling and visibly excited, Kwankwaso quickly shared a photo of himself with Peter Obi from the event across his social media platforms.
The former Kano State Governor and 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party was formally received into the ADC during a high-energy ceremony in Kano.
The event drew prominent figures including David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola, Aminu Tambuwal, and Rotimi Amaechi.
Also present was a massive crowd of enthusiastic supporters, turning the occasion into a vibrant and memorable gathering.
